Highlights of the 2007 calendar year at ETN COMMUNICATIONS are:

Three major book projects, with attendant media campaigns, are underway.

The first is "Innovative Household", a unique annual publication about our way of life, and the special products we choose for our home. We've summoned the thoughts and opinions of experts along with astute family observers to create a volume which will make you think anew not only about how you live your life at home, but life itself. True physical design is, we believe, life design.

The second is devoted to Emergency Management and disaster recovery in Australia. Not surprisingly, for such a vast and diverse continent, Australia leads the world in many areas of emergency management. Despite this both formal and public recognition is scant in relation to the quantity and quality of the excellent work undertaken by an array of organisations, companies and agencies. This is a factual and dramatic tribute to Australian excellence of the highest order.

The third is “Sustainable Nation”. ETN Communications has recently formed a close collaboration with Environment Business Australia to produce a world-class publication and media awareness campaign on the subjects of Climate Change, Water, Energy and Corporate Social Responsibility, titled “Sustainable Nation”.

The book and accompanying media and web campaign will reach senior BRW 500 leaders and decision makers and impact a broad range of industries including architecture, construction, government, academic and scientific communities.

The key aims are several:

  • to promote Australian Innovation in the fields of sustainability management within Australia and to the rest of the world;
  • to contribute a unique blend of highly factual articles to the current debate; to highlight outstanding Australian R&D;
  • to offer quantifications of key themes and claims within the global Climate Change technology discussion;
  • and to disseminate information to important additional quarters such as secondary and tertiary schools and libraries.
  • also, to provide a durable resource which will be widely used by journalists, editors and commentators, over 200 of whom have a working relationship with ETN-COM.

Sustainable Nation and our attendant media campaign, is by far the greatest initiative thus far to inform the nation and the world of the exciting futuristic developments of Australia's leadership in all aspects of Sustainability.
